Xbox players of Genshin Impact are on the cusp of the game's biggest update this year - the intricacies of 6.0 Luna I are about to be revealed.

Genshin Impact players are in for a treat with the upcoming major update, now renamed Luna I. Scheduled for release on September 10, 2025, this new version promises exciting additions and news.

Luna I introduces a news central hub, Nasha Town, located on Lempo Isle. The hub serves as a starting point for players to embark on their journey through the three main islands of Nod-Krai: Hiisi Island, Lempo Isle, and Paha Isle.

The Frostmoon Scions, who worship the moon goddess Kuutar, inhabit Hiisi Island. These Scions are associated with the Kuuvahki Experimental Design Bureau, located on Paha Isle, and the Fatui. One key figure in Nod-Krai's news is Lauma, a 5-star Dendro Catalyst who is part of the Frostmoon Scions.

Combat in Luna I will see the introduction of Lunar news, such as Lunar-Bloom. Players will also encounter a new world boss, the Radiant Moonfly, which provides materials used for character ascension. Defeating Knuckle Duckle unlocks a special shop offering cosmetics for Aino and Ineffa.

Aino, a 4-star Hydro Claymore, is available for free by completing the Archon Quest. Flins, a 5-star Electro Polearm user and a Lightkeeper, is another character players can encounter in Luna I.

Kuuhenki, elemental lifeforms tied to the lunar force flowing through Nod-Krai's environment, can grant players special abilities when approached. These empowered states could provide an edge in combat or exploration.

In addition to the new content, Luna I also introduces Meeting Points, a progression system tied to exploration and world quests. Players can earn rewards by reaching certain points on the map.

Genshin Impact, the developer and manufacturer of which released the game on Xbox Series X|S in November 2024, has also announced that support for PlayStation 4 will end in April 2026.

To celebrate the launch of Luna I, players who log in on September 28, 2025, will receive 1,600 Primogems, one Elixir, two Fragile Resin, a new pet, and a floating bed furnishing.

The next seven days following the anniversary of Genshin Impact's release will be a login event, offering up to 10 Intertwined Fates and one Dust of Enlightenment each day.

With its new islands, characters, and combat mechanics, Luna I promises an exciting new chapter in the world of Genshin Impact. Stay tuned for more updates!
