WordPress Unveils Enhanced Slideshow Features for Immersive Storytelling
WordPress users can now enjoy enhanced slideshow features with the latest updates. The new 2x2 and 3x3 grid options allow for more visual storytelling, while full-screen viewing provides an immersive experience for users.
The new 2 Square Tiles and 3 Square Tiles options display images in a 2x2 and 3x3 grid respectively, offering more layout choices for creators. Each photo can be previewed with the Show thumbnails feature.
Adding a new slide is now easier with the Add Slideshow button. Each slide can have its own Headline, Media, and Body content. For full-screen slideshows, the Fullscreen option is available, allowing users to click and view images in their entirety.
Developers have played a significant role in these advancements. Notably, the Smart Slider 3 plugin by Nextend offers powerful features and responsiveness. Elegant Themes also provides guidance on creating full-screen sliders using Divi Builder.
The Slideshow is easily accessible via a single click in the formatting toolbar on the Assembler option of the Entry Editor.
