Google has made significant strides in its AI technology, announcing the rollout of Gemini and enhanced capabilities for Circle to Search. These new features aim to revolutionize the way users interact with their devices, particularly on Android and iOS devices in the U.S. and India.

The AI Mode, now integrated into Google Lens, allows users to explore complex subjects and ask subsequent questions using AI. This feature is set to enhance the user experience by providing more intelligent and legible responses.

Google's strategy to replace Google Assistant across its device ecosystem is evident with the introduction of Gemini. This next-generation AI will power enhanced features such as an improved assistant and on-device AI capabilities.

The rollout of Gemini on Wear OS watches, starting from early September 2025, marks the beginning of a broader release by December 2025. This gradual integration is part of Google's plan to embed advanced AI deeply into its Wear OS ecosystem and Pixel devices.

Gemini facilitates task completion across multiple applications, such as summarizing emails or adding events to calendars. Users can now interact with Gemini on Wear OS watches by uttering "Hey, Google," pressing and holding the side button, or tapping the Gemini application icon.

Google AI Pro, a subscription service included with the Pixel 9 Pro, offers access to Veo 3, a feature that enables users to generate short videos with natural audio by describing an idea.

Circle to Search now supports gaming-related queries on mobile platforms. Users can utilize Circle to Search to identify new characters or discover winning strategies while playing games. Queries such as "For how long should I roast sliced vegetables, and at what temperature?" or "Do I need an umbrella today?" can now be posed to Gemini.

In addition to these improvements, Google has also enhanced AI Overviews. Responses are now better formatted and more legible, and they can segment key information and incorporate an increased number of visuals.

These advancements in AI technology are set to provide users with a more seamless and intelligent experience, further solidifying Google's commitment to innovation and user-centric design.
