Voting for electric vehicles at the LA Auto Show begins
The Los Angeles Auto Show's Zero-Emission Awards Program, THE ZEVAS, is generating a significant amount of interest for its 2024 edition. The public voting process for this prestigious event is now underway and will conclude in two stages.
The first round of voting ends at midnight on Sunday, October 20. To participate, simply visit TheZevas.com and cast your vote for your preferred contender across eight award categories. The categories include Compact/Coupe, Crossover, Hybrid PHEV, Sedan, SUV, Truck, Ultra Luxury, and Most Anticipated.
Following the conclusion of the first round, three finalists will be announced for each category on Tuesday, October 23. This will mark the beginning of the second round of voting, which will remain open until October 15, 2024.
Industry attendees can take advantage of an "early bird" registration fee of $149 for AMLA 2024, the automotive industry's premier event, until October 31. Registration for AMLA 2024 is also open and complimentary for accredited and approved media. For all other attendees, the full registration fee of $249 will apply from November 1.
The winners of THE ZEVAS 2024 will be announced to the public on Tuesday, November 19. The celebratory event for the winners will take place at AutoMobility LA 2024, which will be held at the LA Convention Center on Thursday, November 21.
For those who are new to THE ZEVAS, prior winners include the Rivian R1T, Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model Y, Fisker Ocean, Lucid Air, and Hyundai KONA Electric.
