Vietnamese Delegation Visits Chemnitz to Boost Microelectronics Cooperation

A 14-strong delegation from Da Nang, Vietnam, led by Nguyen Duc Dung, Chairman of the City People's Council, arrived in Chemnitz today. They were greeted by Mayor Ralph Burghart and Economy department head Silvana Bergk. The visit aims to discuss microelectronics and startup activities.

The delegation's itinerary includes a visit to the Fraunhofer Institute for Electronic Nanosystems (ENAS) in Chemnitz. This institute specialises in microelectronics research, making it a key stop for the visitors. The group also attended a reception at the town hall, where they discussed potential collaborations and knowledge exchange with local officials.

Nguyen Duc Dung, heading the delegation, is a high-ranking member from Da Nang. His role as Chairman of the City People's Council reflects the importance of this visit to both cities.

The visit by the Da Nang delegation to Chemnitz is expected to foster cooperation in microelectronics and startup activities. Both cities stand to gain from the exchange of knowledge and potential partnerships.
