VIDAA Strengthens Global Presence, Renews Partnership with Nexxen for CTV Advertising

VIDAA, a Linux-based smart TV operating system developed by VIDAA USA, Inc., has strengthened its global presence and partnerships. The platform, which powers millions of connected devices worldwide, has seen its parent company, Hisense, expand its operations across continents. Recently, VIDAA's strategic partnership with Nexxen International Ltd. has been renewed and expanded, with significant investments and exclusive rights granted.

VIDAA, launched in partnership with over 400 content providers, operates on more than 30 million connected devices globally. The platform's success has led to its parent company establishing offices in the Netherlands, China, USA, Israel, and Poland, including a US base at 7310 McGinnis Ferry Road, Suwanee, GA 30024. The updated agreement with Nexxen extends the company's exclusive global entry to VIDAA's Automatic Content Recognition (ACR) data and grants it exclusive rights to monetize Connected TV (CTV) and native display advertising on VIDAA media in North America through at least the end of 2029.

This expansion occurs amidst accelerating growth in CTV advertising. Projected to double from 14% in 2023 to 28% in 2025, CTV's share of media budgets is set to increase significantly. Nexxen's additional $35 million investment brings its total to $60 million, representing approximately 6% of VIDAA's outstanding shares. This strategic move aligns with the 72% of marketers planning to increase programmatic advertising investment in 2025, highlighting CTV's particular strength in brand-building objectives.

VIDAA's growing global footprint and strategic partnerships, such as the renewed and expanded deal with Nexxen, position the platform as a key player in the accelerating Connected TV advertising landscape. With exclusive rights and significant investments, VIDAA and Nexxen are poised to capitalize on the increasing demand for CTV advertising.
