Updated Essential Space features facilitating quicker sharing of recordings and more convenience
In a recent update, the Essential Space app on Nothing Phone models, particularly the Phone (3), has seen significant improvements to its feature set.
The updates, now rolling out to Nothing Phone (3), Phone (3a), and Phone (3a) Pro, have made it easier for users to share and export audio recordings and daily content. With the new Shareable Recorder Summaries feature, users can now record meetings or conversations, get AI-generated summaries, edit them manually, and easily export or share those summaries in multiple formats directly from Essential Space.
The updates also include the Flip-to-Record feature, which allows for quick audio recording activated by flipping the phone. However, this feature is currently exclusive to the Nothing Phone (3).
Other key functionalities introduced are Google Calendar integration, manual editing of AI-generated content, and the ability to share saved images or screenshots, known as "Memories," via an overflow menu.
These updates do not require a full Nothing OS upgrade, as Essential Space is updated separately through the Google Play Store. Users can download the latest updates via the Play Store, either automatically on Wi-Fi or manually.
