UAE Unveils AI Projects to Boost Civil Aviation Efficiency
The UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has launched a suite of AI-driven projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and service quality in the civil aviation sector. Attending the launch were Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism and Chairman of the GCAA, and Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the GCAA.

Another initiative, ASK GCAA (HR Assistant), simplifies HR processes and improves employee accessibility. It integrates chatbots with internal systems to provide detailed attendance reports and real-time support. Additionally, the Working Paper Automation initiative uses AI to ensure the accuracy and clarity of official documents.
These projects align with the GCAA's ongoing digital transformation efforts and emphasize the role of artificial intelligence in building smarter, more efficient aviation services. They are expected to strengthen the UAE's position as a global leader in aviation innovation and regulatory excellence.
