TVS iQube Vision Triumphs at Auto Expo 2025, Claiming the Title of Best Concept Motorcycle Award
BMW R 1300 GS Adventure Showcased at Auto Expo 2025, but Misses Out on the Best Concept Bike Award
The Auto Expo 2025, a long-standing platform for brands to showcase their future concepts, was a buzzing event this year, with several notable motorcycles on display. Among them was the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure, one of the nominees for awards at the event.
Launched at Auto Expo 2025 for ₹22.95 Lakh, the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure is a high-end motorcycle, appealing to a niche market. TVS, another proactive two-wheeler maker, also showcased its offerings at the expo, including the RTSX and the Jupiter CNG, which were also nominees for the awards.
The editor-in-chief of the website, Siddharth Vinayak Patankar, organised the awards at the Auto Expo 2025. The panel of judges, which included Yogendra Pratap, Renuka Kirpalani, Hani Musthafa, and members of the website’s team, evaluated and picked the winners.
In a surprising turn of events, the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure did not win the coveted Best Concept Bike Award. Instead, the honour went to the TVS iQube Vision, a visionary family e-scooter for the future.
The TVS iQube Vision was chosen for its cool design language and potential innovative future technology, such as a HUD console, remote boot unlock, and removable battery packs. On the other hand, the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure, while a stunning motorcycle in its own right, is not directly competing with the TVS iQube Vision, as they cater to different market segments.
Despite missing out on the award, the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure still made a significant impact at the Auto Expo. Its presence at the event suggests that it could potentially feature some of the tech and design elements from the nominated concepts in future products.
Meanwhile, Norton Motorcycles also showcased the Norton V4CR concept motorcycle at the Auto Expo 2025, alongside TVS and its concept models. The BMW F 450 GS Concept was another nominee, which is to be manufactured in Hosur, adding to the diversity of vehicles on display.
In conclusion, the Auto Expo 2025 was a testament to the innovation and creativity in the automotive industry. While the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure missed out on the Best Concept Bike Award, its presence at the event and the potential for future tech innovations make it an exciting prospect for motorcycle enthusiasts.
