In recent speeches, President Trump has been emphasizing the importance of the G7 summit and the role of America's job creators. A significant part of his rhetoric has been directed towards the technology sector, urging U.S. companies to be more "all in for America" and to prioritize American interests.

At the AI Summit in Washington D.C., Trump expressed a need for a new spirit of patriotism and national loyalty, especially in Silicon Valley and beyond. He criticized large American tech firms for manufacturing in China, hiring workers in India, and slashing profits in Ireland.

Trump's administration has proposed several policies aimed at promoting American tech worker hiring. One such policy is a crackdown on tech companies hiring foreign workers, particularly from India. The president has urged firms like Microsoft and Google to "stop hiring in India" and focus on hiring American workers instead.

Another proposal is to overhaul the H-1B visa system, replacing the current random lottery with a points-based system favoring elite candidates. This would disproportionately affect Indian tech talent, who receive over 70% of H-1B visas.

In addition to these proposals, Trump has signed off on three executive orders focused on strengthening the U.S. artificial intelligence sector. One of these executive orders is the America's AI Action Plan, a broad White House strategy outlining steps to keep the U.S. ahead in the global AI race.

However, it's worth noting that Trump's speeches have not yet resulted in any new executive orders or formal policies in the direction of prioritizing American workers.

Trump has also made it clear that such practices will not be tolerated under his presidency. He has stated that winning the AI competition will be a test of America's capacities since the dawn of the space age, and that America will win the AI race.

The president has emphasized the importance of AI development and America's contribution to it. He has declared that America will lead the way in AI, just as it did in the space race. However, the specifics of how this will be achieved remain to be seen.
