First up, the motor—YT opted for the Fazua Ride 60, which pumps out a whopping 60Nm torque and 450 peak watts, making it the most powerful mid-power motor we've seen so far. It's also paired with the new big battery option, boasting 480Wh.
The bike itself features relatively modest 140mm travel, contrasting with the original SN's 160mm. Up front, there's a 160mm fork. YT's tweaked the geometry using a flip chip, focusing on speed and stability. The SN 29 boasts a 64.4° head angle and 477mm reach in a size large, while the chainstays come in at a meaty 447mm for added stability, and the seat tube angle at 78.6° offers a superior pedaling position.

All bikes in the new range sport the same top-end Ultra-Modulus carbon fiber frame. The entry-level Core 2 keeps costs low with basic Fox suspension, featuring a 36 Rhythm fork with Grip damper and a Performance level Float X shock.
Here, you'll find a Shimano SLX mech and XT shifter, as well as Hayes Dominion A4 brakes. It also comes with a YT 40mm rise handlebar, a Raceface stem, DT Swiss E1900 wheels, and the same tyres across the entire line: Maxxis DHF & DHRIIs with EXO+ casings and MaxxGrip up front.
