When is the Best Time to Get an Air Fryer Deal?

Prime Day (July 8th-11th) is a swell time to shell out some coin for an air fryer—not only will Amazon offer up deals, but other brands like Ninja and Argos will have rival sales.

If you're willing to compromise, it's always a good idea to check out refurbished models too. If you're poking around somewhere reputable (the brand themselves or eBay), these will be as good as new and a lot less dough.

Are Prime Day Air Fryer Deals Any Good?

Prime Day is a fantastic opportunity to snag a saving on an air fryer. Last time around, the Instant 4-in-1 air fryer was reduced to £45, and the famous Ninja air fryer saw a full £70 off. If you can wait a week or so, you'll see some smokin' (not really, but you get the point) prices.

Are Black Friday Air Fryer Deals Worth Waiting For?

This Black Friday (November 29th), we saw some jaw-dropping discounts, including £100 off the iconic Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer, and the Instant 4-in-1 halved in price. The next big air fryer sale will be on Boxing Day or in the New Year, so stay tuned. There are more savings to come.

Are Air Fryers Cheaper on Cyber Monday?

This year, I saw deals as good as Black Friday on Cyber Monday, including Ninja's Dual Drawer Air Fryer at the lowest price it's ever been on Argos. Air fryer deals are usually better on Cyber Monday, but they're a great chance to scoop up anything you might have missed during the Black Friday chaos, as long as stocks last.

What is a Good Price for an Air Fryer?

The standard, non-sale price of an air fryer ranges from £40 to up to £200. What you'll pay depends mainly on the capacity of the air fryer, usually measured in litres. A two-person household will make do with up to 2 litres capacity; a family of four will need a 3-4 litre air fryer, while a five-to-six-person household will want one that's 5 litres or more.

You can snag a smaller air fryer for as little as £40. Models with a 3-4 litre capacity typically come in around £100, although Tower and PowerXL, available at Currys, offer larger air fryers at around the £100 mark, too. You'll pay more for higher-capacity air fryers and for the most sought-after brands, such as Ninja.

With all this in mind, shelling out £200 for an air fryer and getting it for £100 during a sale, or nabbing a £100 air fryer for £50, feels like a steal.

How Do You Know You're Getting a Genuinely Good Air Fryer Deal?

One factor to be wary of when hunting for air fryer deals is that just because a deal looks like it offers a large percentage off the RRP, if the fryer was originally overpriced to begin with, you could still be missing out on a better deal elsewhere. In the past, we've generally seen deals on air fryers average around 20-40% off the original RRP, so if you see a deal offering over half off, snap it up!

It's important to consider what's included in the deal, too, along with the size, capacity, and features of the fryer. If you're dead set on an extra-large air fryer and see a deal offering it for less than £100, dive in before it's gone.

Are Air Fryers Worth the Money?

In a nutshell, yes! We asked our former Head of Ecommerce and small appliances expert, Millie Fender, and she confirms that air fryers are worth every penny. She's reviewed countless air fryers from brands like Ninja and Instant, and she can vouch that they're total game-changers.

"I've got my two-drawer Instant VersaZone air fryer, which I'd highly recommend if you're looking for an air fryer upgrade," Millie says. "And if you're a newcomer to the air fryer scene, I highly recommend Ninja air fryers, especially the entry-level models, which are powerful yet compact."

As you would imagine, Millie is a firm advocate of waiting for sales to snag the best bargains.
