HRS Group CEO Tobias Ragge Inducted into Business Travel Hall of Fame

Tobias Ragge, the CEO of HRS Group, has been honoured with a prestigious induction into the Business Travel Hall of Fame. This recognition comes in acknowledgement of his significant contributions and leadership in the global managed travel community over the past 17 years.

Ragge, who was the first German to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2025, has been at the helm of HRS Group since 2008. Under his leadership, the company has transformed from a local German hotel booking portal into a global AI-driven platform for international hotel and meeting programs.

The Business Travel Show America is the latest addition to BTN Group's growing portfolio of premier events. Ragge will be officially inducted into the Business Travel Hall of Fame at a ceremonial gala on December 3rd at the Plaza Hotel in New York.

Ragge's accomplishments extend beyond this recognition. He has been named one of the '25 Most Influential Executives' in business travel four times since 2014, more than any other European executive. His entrepreneurial vision and impact on evolving the travel-tech industry are evident in his drive for innovation in travel technology.

Early investments in mobile and automation, and current advancements using AI to improve cost efficiency, sustainability, and the travel experience on a large scale, are testament to his commitment to pushing boundaries for a better and more sustainable business travel industry.

HRS Group's pioneering technology, including the Copilot AI-based travel assistant, has been recognised multiple times. Ragge's belief in the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence in the way companies work and travel is evident in his vision for HRS as a driving force in its application.

In addition to his work at HRS Group, Ragge actively engages with the German Mittelstand and works with government and economic representatives to revitalise the German economy. He holds a degree in International Business Administration from the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel.

Through HRS's Green Stay initiative, hotels and meeting venues can showcase their sustainable commitment and support companies in their journey to net-zero travel. With partnerships in over 180 countries and a unique partner network within the ecosystem, HRS's platform-based solutions transform end-to-end travel management and the traveler experience in transient travel, meetings, and project accommodation for international large enterprises.

As HRS continues to innovate and lead in the travel-tech industry, Ragge's induction into the Business Travel Hall of Fame is a well-deserved recognition of his leadership and vision.

  1. Tobias Ragge's leadership at HRS Group has steered the company from a local hotel booking portal to a global AI-driven platform for international hotel and meeting programs, demonstrating his proficiency in merging technology with finance and business.
  2. Ragge's induction into the Business Travel Hall of Fame is not just a testament to his significant contributions in the travel industry, but also his entrepreneurial vision and impact on the evolving travel-tech sector, particularly in the areas of finance and business.
