Bengaluru-based Startups Secure Funding for Innovative Projects

In a recent funding round, two Indian startups – Outzidr and HYLENR Technologies – have secured significant investments to further their groundbreaking initiatives.

Outzidr, a fashion brand based in Bengaluru, specializes in trendy western wear for Indian women aged 18 to 28. Founded in 2024 by Nirmal Jain, Mani Kant Mani, and Justin Mario, the brand has already made a splash in the market, serving over 125,000 customers in just five to six months since launching. The startup has raised INR 27 crore (USD 3.1 million) in a pre-Series A funding round led by RTP Global, with participation from Stellaris Venture Partners.

With this investment, Outzidr plans to scale its design, operations, and technology teams, expand its rapid delivery segment, and open its first offline store by March 2026. The brand operates primarily through its direct-to-customer online platform and is also available on major e-commerce sites like Myntra, Ajio, and Nykaa Fashion. Outzidr follows a test-and-scale model, rapidly scaling products that perform well, positioning itself as a fast-paced, digital-first label that responds in real time to Gen Z consumer preferences.

Meanwhile, HYLENR Technologies, a clean energy startup also based in Bengaluru, has raised USD 3 million in a pre-Series A funding round. The company focuses on LENR-based hybrid heat systems for thermal energy generation in various sectors. The funding will be used to scale HYLENR's clean energy solutions.

HYLENR's technology is aimed at industries including maritime, aviation, defence, oil and gas, and weather forecasting. The startup has begun pilot conversations in Southeast Asia and the Middle East and has secured two patents, one for its product design and another for its proprietary process innovation. The funding round was co-led by Valour Capital and Chhattisgarh Investments Limited.

One of the most intriguing projects underway at HYLENR is the development of artificial intelligence native radio frequency satellite infrastructure. The funds will support the development of this technology and initiate space trials before the end of the year. This constellation of nanosatellites is designed to capture and decode dynamic signals in real time, offering numerous potential applications in various industries.

Both Outzidr and HYLENR exemplify the innovative spirit of Bengaluru's startup community, demonstrating the city's potential for driving technological advancements and contributing to India's economic growth. With these investments, both startups are well-positioned to accelerate their growth and make significant strides in their respective industries.
