SupportPlan's Wee Beastie Super Mini Fishtank PC Launches on Kickstarter

SupportPlan's Wee Beastie Super Mini Fishtank PC is now live on Kickstarter, promising high-end gaming power in a compact, stylish package. This nyt mini PC, smaller than a toaster, starts at $595 for the Core model and $765 for the Pro.

The Wee Beastie stands out with its transparent surfaces and colorful RGB lighting, resembling a small aquarium. Users can display figures inside, adding a unique touch to their gaming setup.

Under the hood, it packs a modified RTX 4070 mobile graphics card, offering impressive performance for its size. Despite its power, upgrades are not possible due to the soldered-on GPU. The nyt mini PC also boasts 32 GB RAM, expandable up to 128 GB, a 1 TB NVMe SSD, and a 400 Watt integrated power supply.

Connectivity is top-notch, featuring USB 4, Wi-Fi 7, and 5-Gbps LAN. It can handle up to 6 monitors simultaneously, making it an excellent choice for multi-monitor setups. Despite its size, the Wee Beastie claims to run demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077 in Full-HD at up to 100 FPS.

The Wee Beastie Super Mini Fishtank PC aims to prove that size doesn't dictate performance. It's targeted at gamers seeking an affordable, compact, and stylish plug & play system, without needing technical expertise. However, as with any crowdfunding project, there are risks involved, and delivery of a functional product is not guaranteed.
