Reposted content appears in a dedicated "Reposts" tab on the user’s profile, alongside the Reels and Tagged Photos tabs. This new functionality is designed to boost creator reach and increase user engagement by making content curation and sharing more seamless.
When a user reposts a Reel or feed post, Instagram may recommend the reposted content to followers of the original creator, potentially exposing it to users who do not follow the original account. This can significantly expand the audience of the original content beyond just the creator’s followers.
