The store's spokesperson, Daniel Müller, shared that customers often use the store in Wassenach for quick shopping or when an ingredient runs out. He also highlighted that the store has many regular customers who enjoy socializing there.
The company's expansion plans don't stop at Winningen and Mastershausen. The self-service store concept is set to bring a new shopping experience to more Rhineland-Palatinate towns in the near future. The stores in Winningen and Mastershausen are planned to be located in the north of the region.
To shop at these self-service stores, customers receive user cards that allow them to open the store, scan their purchases, and pay independently. This contactless shopping experience is a response to the changing needs of customers in the digital age.
The main shopping day in Wassenach is Saturday, but the self-service store concept offers customers the flexibility to shop at their convenience, anytime the store is open. This convenience, coupled with the appeal of the self-checkout lanes, has made the store a popular choice among locals.
