Samsung Unveils Galaxy Buds 3 FE: Affordable Earbuds with Enhanced Sound and Noise Cancellation
Samsung has announced the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, a new, affordable addition to its wireless earbuds lineup. Set to launch in the US on September 4, these earbuds offer a blend of features, including enhanced sound quality, improved noise cancellation, and hands-free voice controls via Google Gemini.
The Galaxy Buds 3 FE boast a larger driver, promising 'rich, powerful sound with deep bass and clear treble'. They support Samsung's SSC Bluetooth codec, AAC, and SBC, but not aptX or LDAC. The earbuds offer an impressive 8.5 hours of battery life, extending to 30 hours with the charging case when using active noise cancellation (ANC).
The Galaxy Buds 3 FE are designed for active use, with an IP54 waterproof rating, making them suitable for workouts and rainy weather. They feature a 'Blade' design, similar to the AirPods, with playback controls via pinching or swiping. Real-time language translation is available via the Galaxy AI Interpreter app.
Samsung has expanded its Galaxy Buds lineup with the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, offering a more affordable option alongside the Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro. The earbuds will be available in the US on September 4, priced at $150, in black or gray. In Germany, they will be available starting from September 5, 2025, through the Samsung Online Shop and Samsung Shop App.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 FE offer a compelling mix of features at an affordable price point. With improved sound quality, enhanced noise cancellation, and a durable design, they are set to appeal to a wide range of users. Their availability in the US and selected markets in Europe, along with their competitive pricing, makes them an attractive option for those seeking a balance between quality and affordability.
