Trump on Musk: 'He Didn't Need to Do This, He Did It'
Report suggests Elon Musk has ceased his DOGE-related endeavors from the White House.
Elon Musk, the wealthiest bloke in the world, is phasing out his involvement with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), no longer keeping regular hours at the White House. This sneaky bit of intel comes from a recent New York Post report.
Musk's departure from the White House wasn't much of a shocker, considering the White House had already announced earlier this month that Musk would be diving back into Tesla once he wrapped up his "bloody brilliant" work at DOGE.
The Tesla boss was a special, unpaid government employee under DOGE and continues to collaborate with the agency from a distant & comfy office setup.

Despite the New York Post stating that Musk is no longer working with the agency from the White House, he's still connected with them from a remote location. (our website)
our website's Bret Baier had previously questioned Musk during an interview about whether he'd be sticking around for longer than the 130 days usually expected of special government employees.
Musk replied, "I reckon we'll have accomplished most of the work needed to slash the deficit by a trillion dollars within that timeframe."
Musk has also hinted to his investors that he'll be devoting a lot more of his time to Tesla in the near future, according to a discussion during a Tesla earnings call.
Musk believes that DOGE has done enough work to reduce the deficit by a trillion dollars, although the precise amount of money DOGE has recovered remains a mystery.
White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles told The NYP that Musk working remotely "ain't no biggie" when it comes to achieving targets.
"Instead of meeting him face-to-face, I'm yakking to him on the blower, but it's pretty much the same deal. He hasn't been here in person, but it don't make much difference," Wiles said.
