Renault Revolutionizes Supply Chain with AI in Final Stage of Digitalization
Renault, a global automotive leader, has made significant strides in its digitalisation journey, now reaching the fifth stage of its five-year plan. The latest phase involves the integration of AI and predictive analytics for automated decision-making in the company's supply chain.
The journey began with the first stage, focusing on identifying and understanding data within Renault. This was followed by the second stage, which entailed visualising the data to gain valuable insights. The third stage then saw the implementation of data-driven decisions, accompanied by necessary training and process changes.
The fourth stage aimed to ensure reliability in the supply chain by establishing a control tower for inbound transportation. Currently, Renault is in the fifth stage, leveraging AI and predictive analytics for automated decision-making, a move that promises to optimise its supply chain management.
In collaboration with École des Ponts ParisTech, Renault is exploring the future of AI optimisation in its supply chain. The company's strategic partnerships within the Catena-X data ecosystem, which includes multiple automotive manufacturers and suppliers, are expected to further bolster this initiative.
