Recap: Reflection on the Year That Was 2024
In a series of significant updates, the Boris FX Suite has expanded its AI capabilities, revolutionising post-production workflows for creators across the globe. The suite, which includes popular tools such as Sapphire, Mocha Pro, and Continuum, has seen over 13 new versions shipped within a 12-month period, with notable advancements in 2024 and 2025.
Kicking off the year in April, Sapphire 2024.5 was released, followed by Mocha Pro 2024 in March and Silhouette in February. In the same vein, Sapphire 2025 and Silhouette 2025 were unveiled in November and October respectively. The Boris FX Suite expanded its AI capabilities in 2024, incorporating over 10 new AI-powered features.

Similarly, CrumplePop 2025.5 features a revamped SoundApp with advanced AI models for fast and efficient audio cleanup and enhancement.
Silhouette 2025 also saw the addition of powerful new 3D and AI tools for clean-up and insert tasks. The Retime Node in Silhouette simplifies time warps, while the next-gen AI Optical Flow tracker drives roto splines, ensuring smooth and precise results.
