QuakeCon 2025 Showcases GeForce RTX: Exclusive DOOM: The Dark Ages PC Competitions, $10,000 Mod Contests, RTX Demonstrations, and Other Offerings
GeForce Summer Nights is set to conclude next week with a special evening stream of RTX Play LIVE from the QuakeCon floor for DOOM: The Dark Ages. The event, held from August 7th to 10th in Texas, will see the attendance of GeForce Evangelist Jacob Freeman and the GeForce team.
Jacob Freeman, known for his association with prizes at events he attends, will be streaming playing DOOM: The Dark Ages live from QuakeCon from 6 to 8PM PT on Saturday, August 9th. Attendees should also look out for other opportunities for swag and prizes throughout the event.
The GeForce booth at QuakeCon 2025 offers a chance to win prizes, including three customized DOOM: The Dark Ages PCs and GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs. To participate in the QuakeCon Mod Contest, participants must complete a form, select whether their system is a Case Mod or Scratch Build, bring their PC to QuakeCon, and ensure it's set up in time for Thursday.
Participants in the QuakeCon BYOC LAN event can enter the QuakeCon Mod Contest. The contest awards GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs to winners of the best modded PCs and scratch-built systems. Additionally, there are chances for attendees to win GeForce RTX 5070 Founders Edition GPUs through DOOM 2: RAY TRACED and DOOM: The Dark Ages challenges.
Stamps can be earned by playing DOOM: The Dark Ages, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, DOOM 2: RAY TRACED, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, and other games at the demo stations. Once attendees have 3 stamps, they should follow the instructions on the card to enter the giveaway.
The QuakeCon Mod Contest also offers exciting rewards for winners. Along with the GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, winners of the QuakeCon Mod Contest also receive gift cards for custom cables, Bitspower watercooling components, TRYX All In One CPU coolers, and a chance to star in a Rig Spotlight video.
For those who are not participating in the Mod Contest, there are still chances to win game codes and a custom wrapped DOOM: The Dark Ages GeForce RTX 5090 during #GeForceSummer Nights at QuakeCon 2025.
Previous winners of the QuakeCon Mod Contest are ineligible to re-enter unless significant modifications have been performed in the time since, and at least 75% of the work must have been completed by the entrant.
