QuakeCon 2025: GeForce Team Brings $10K Prizes, Custom PCs & More
QuakeCon 2025, set in Texas from August 7th to 10th, is an exciting event for gaming enthusiasts. The GeForce team, led by Jacob Freeman, will be present, offering a range of prizes and activities.
The main attraction is the QuakeCon Mod Contest, hosted by GeForce Garage. This contest boasts a total prize value of $10,000, including GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, gift cards, and a grand prize trip to NVIDIA's headquarters for the best modded PCs and scratch-built systems.
Attendees can also win custom PCs at the GeForce booth. Three customized DOOM: The Dark Ages PCs, built by NVIDIA, will be given away. Other prizes include GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs and more. To enter the custom PC draw, attendees must collect stamps from demo stations playing DOOM: The Dark Ages, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Doom 2: RAY TRACED, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.
The DOOM: The Dark Ages RTX Play Live stream will occur on Saturday, August 9th, from 6 to 8 PM PT. Viewers can win game codes and a custom wrapped DOOM: The Dark Ages GeForce RTX 5090. Additionally, DOOM 2: RAY TRACED and DOOM: The Dark Ages challenges offer chances to win a GeForce RTX 5070 Founders Edition GPU and a custom GeForce RTX-QuakeCon frisbee.
Winners of the custom PCs, provided by ASUS, Falcon Northwest, and MAINGEAR, will be contacted with details on how to claim their prizes. QuakeCon 2025 promises a thrilling experience for all attendees, with a wide range of prizes and activities.
