Polydrops, a Southern California-based manufacturer, has unveiled the P21, a full-size caravan designed for families and the electric vehicle (EV) age. This innovative travel trailer combines American and Korean residential design philosophies, offering a multipurpose lounge area and a separate bed space for children.
The P21's aerodynamic exterior and efficient insulation make it highly compatible with EVs. It can run its air conditioning for up to 19 hours using just the battery, with sunlight boosting the charge during travel. The trailer features an optional Cooking Station and a Sanitation Unit, along with high levels of insulation and a sophisticated climate control system. Polydrops' design philosophy is inspired by the differences between American and Korean residential design philosophies, creating a unique and functional living space.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Kyunghyun and Jieun Lew, former SCI-Arc students who immigrated from South Korea, Polydrops aims to create portable spaces based on their architectural background. The P21 starts at $38,900 and is designed and developed independently by Polydrop, a South Korean company specializing in innovative, compact caravans and camping vehicles.
