Partnering Up: Acron and FDT Strengthen Flight Data Administration
Acron Aviation and Flight Data Technologies Form Strategic Partnership to Enhance Flight Safety and Operational Efficiency
Acron Aviation, a leading player in the aviation industry, has entered into a strategic partnership with Flight Data Technologies. This collaboration aims to revolutionise flight data management, with a focus on improving flight safety and operational efficiency.
In August 2025, Acron Aviation received UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) approval for its Airbus A320 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) at the Bangkok Training Centre (BTC). This approval is a testament to Acron Aviation's commitment to global safety standards and high-quality aviation training.
The partnership between Acron Aviation and Flight Data Technologies will see the integration of Flight Data Technologies' Quick Access Recorder (uQAR) into Acron Aviation's offerings. uQAR is designed to automatically capture flight data and transmit it upon landing, enabling dynamic processing.
Mitesh Patel, Senior Vice President (SVP) and General Manager (GM) of Acron Aviation's Flight Data Intelligence division, stated that the partnership delivers a new benchmark for enhancing operational efficiency without compromising safety. He added that this collaboration will streamline maintenance, optimise fuel utilisation, and reduce operational costs.
Natalia Bacearnicova, CEO of Flight Data Technologies, expressed her enthusiasm about the partnership. She stated that the exceptional performance and low operating cost of uQAR will allow airlines to significantly improve their flight data management, enhancing safety and reducing operational expenses.
The combined system will also enable flight safety teams, pilots, and maintenance personnel to receive actionable insights almost instantly. This real-time data analysis is expected to improve both flight safety and operational efficiency.
The CAA inspectors commended the BTC team for their professionalism, operational readiness, and technical excellence during the certification process. This endorsement further underscores Acron Aviation's dedication to maintaining the highest standards in the aviation industry.
The partnership between Acron Aviation and Flight Data Technologies is expected to make a significant impact in the aviation industry. By showcasing their achievements in the Airport Technology Excellence Awards, both companies aim to elevate their industry profile and position themselves among top leaders driving aviation industry advancements.
The Airport Technology Excellence Awards celebrate innovation, leadership, and impact in the aviation industry. These awards provide an opportunity for companies to gain recognition for their contributions to the aviation industry, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
