Star Trek Day Celebration:A Week-Long Free Streaming Event You Don't Want to Miss!

Grab your phaser and prepare for warp speed, dear Trekkies! In a jaw-dropping move, Paramount has announced that it will be offering fans an opportunity to revisit, and even discover, beloved Star Trek series, with the premiere episodes of every franchise (barring one) available for streaming for free, from September 7-13.

Get Ready to Binge!

Prepare to immerse yourself in classics such as TOS's "The Cage," TNG's "Encounter at Farpoint I & II," and DS9's "The Emissary I & II," among others, all at your fingertips. The list includes Voyager's "Caretaker I & II," Enterprise's "Broken Bow I & II," The Animated Series' "Beyond the Farthest Star," Strange New Worlds' "Strange New Worlds," Lower Decks' "Second Contact," Discovery's "The Vulcan Hello," and Picard's "Remembrance."

But that's not all! Several episodes of Short Treks will also be accessible, including "The Girl Who Made the Stars," "The Trouble with Edward," "Ask Not," "Runaway," and "Ephraim and Dot." However, a notable absence is "Lost and Found I & II," the premiere episodes of Prodigy.

To catch these episodes, simply tune in on Amazon, Apple, Roku, Paramount+'s official YouTube page, Pluto TV, or the Paramount free content hub (available in the U.S. only, I'm afraid).

Embrace the Future and Give Back

Paramount has teamed up with Code.org, DoSomething.Org, and Outright International for the "Take the Chair, Make a Difference" campaign. This Star Trek-themed initiative encourages fans to embody the show's vision of a brighter future and contribute to the inclusive community. As part of the campaign, fans are invited to envision themselves in the iconic USS Enterprise captain's chair and ponder, "What would I do if I were setting the course for the future?"
