Panasonic Connect Unveils 4K Cameras AW-UB50, AW-UB10 and AK-UCX100 for Professionals
Panasonic Connect has unveiled two new 4K multi-purpose cameras, the AW-UB50 and AW-UB10, on 27 August 2024. These models are designed for professional use, particularly in streaming, AV production, and education.
The AW-UB50 and AW-UB10 are compact, box-style cameras featuring large-format sensors. They are ideal for broadcast and live entertainment, offering high flexibility and robust connectivity options such as NDI, USB, and HDMI. Both models are expected to hit the market in the fourth quarter of 2024, with some regional variations possible.
Panasonic Connect has also announced the AK-UCX100, a 4K studio camera designed for live events. It captures ultra-high-definition images with a resolution of 2000 TV lines horizontally and vertically. The AK-UCX100 pairs with Panasonic's AK-UCU700 Series Camera Control Unit for traditional studio use. It will be available in December 2024 and will be showcased at NAB NY on 9-10 October. Additionally, Panasonic will extend NDI support to its lineup of 4K integrated cameras and the AG-CX350 Memory Card Camera Recorder via a free firmware update.
Panasonic Connect's latest offerings, the AW-UB50, AW-UB10, and AK-UCX100, cater to the evolving needs of professionals in various fields. These cameras are set to enhance production quality and flexibility, with expected availability in the coming months.
