Ozon introduces a service for delivering personal packages

Ready to ship your personal parcels with ease? Ozon's latest service is now available to all 58.1 million customers in the Russian market!

Newcomers to Ozon's online platform can now join the party and use this nifty service, as announced in their press release. For retail customers, sending parcels has never been simpler—just drop off your package at the nearby Ozon pickup point. Shipping costs start at 49 rubles, depending on dimensions. Customers can choose from various packaging boxes available on-site for their parcel's journey.

But before your parcel takes off, it'll be inspected at the pickup point. Certain items, like weapons, fireworks, or hazardous materials, are off-limits. Identity documents and items larger than 57x45x21 cm or weighing more than 35 kg also won't make the cut.

According to Ozon's Director of Logistics and Supply Chains, Ruslan Eminov, this new service will revolutionize the game for countless users of Ozon's pickup points, particularly in remote regions and small cities that previously lacked such solutions.

In other news, Ozon Fintech's financial vertical launched a leasing service back in January 2025. Whether you're eyeing new or used vehicles across all segments, including passenger, commercial, and cargo, you can lease them for periods ranging from one to five years. This service caters not only to marketplace partners but also legal entities and individual entrepreneurs.

Ozon's penetration in the Russian market is quite significant, positioning itself as one of the top online marketplaces, alongside the likes of Wildberries. Their timely delivery services are a significant factor in maintaining this standing, operating an expansive logistics network[3][4].

The Vozi Ozon app, allowing transport companies, drivers, and couriers to handle deliveries across Russia and the CIS, is another asset in their arsenal[2]. The app’s flexibility in delivery management could potentially boost efficiency in remote areas by broadening delivery options.

Though specifics on pricing, prohibited items, and benefits in remote regions concerning the new parcel service expansion are scarce, Ozon's existing logistics network and partnership with local carriers could mean improvements in delivery services for remote areas[1]. For more precise details, consult Ozon's official announcements or customer service resources.

Using Ozon's new parcel service can be a game-changer, especially for residents in remote regions and small cities. This service expansion, along with their existing logistics network, indicates potential improvements in technology-driven business and finance solutions, such as courier and delivery management.
