OnePlus 15 Set to Unveil on Oct 27 With 1.5K Display, 120W Charging
OnePlus is set to unveil the OnePlus 15 in China on 27 October. The smartphone is expected to come in Sand Storm, Black, and Purple color variants, featuring a 165Hz display and the in-house Detail Max engine. It will also sport a new design and advanced materials.
The OnePlus 15 is rumored to pack a punch with its specifications. It could feature LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring smooth performance. Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, promising speed and efficiency. The phone is expected to run on OxygenOS 16, offering a clean and intuitive user experience.
The display is set to be a standout feature. The OnePlus 15 could come with a 6.78-inch BOE X3 LTPO OLED panel, boasting a 1.5K resolution and 1800 nits of global peak brightness. This ensures vivid colors and excellent visibility even in bright conditions.
Battery life is another highlight. The OnePlus 15 could come with a 7,300 mAh battery, supporting both 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. This should provide more than a day's use on a single charge.
After the Chinese launch, the OnePlus 15 is expected to hit global markets, including India, on 13 November. With its advanced specifications, new design, and impressive battery life, the OnePlus 15 is poised to be a strong contender in the premium smartphone segment.
