Nissan Nismo Z Precision Sushi Knife Sells Out
The Nissan Nismo Parts store in the US has sold out of the limited-edition Z Nismo Precision Sushi Knife. This unique collaboration between Nissan Design America, sushi-chef Hiroyuki Terada, and knifemaker Kiryu has proven popular among enthusiasts.
The knife, designed by Nissan Design America, features a striking bright red stripe on the handle, a nod to the classic Nissan 240Z (Fairlady). Each knife is individually numbered, carrying the Z logo, Chef Hiro's name, and the Kiryu insignia. Only 240 knives were produced, making it a highly sought-after item.
Handcrafted by Kiryu in Niigata Prefecture, the knife boasts a 210mm double-beveled blade, ensuring clean and precise cuts. It was available for NZ$525 from Nissan Nismo Parts. Both Chef Hiro and Kiryu's principal knifemaker, Satoshi Kiryu, are avid Nissan sports car fans, adding a personal touch to this collaboration.
The Z Nismo Precision Sushi Knife, a unique blend of automotive and culinary craftsmanship, has now sold out. Fans of both Nissan and sushi can appreciate the attention to detail and the limited nature of this collaboration. Those who managed to secure one can now enjoy a piece of automotive history in their kitchen.
