Next-year arrival of Chinese automaker GAC in the UK market
Starting from the end of Q1 2026, the UK market will welcome two new electric vehicles: the Aion UT hatchback and the Aion V SUV, manufactured by Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC). This entry into the UK market is made possible through a joint venture between GAC and Jameel Motors.
The Aion V SUV, a C-segment all-electric vehicle, and the Aion UT hatchback, a B-segment electric car, will initially be available through select retail partners across the UK.
