Slimline Cintiq Tablets: Wacom's New Triple Threat

The tech realm is abuzz with Wacom's latest announcement - the launch of three innovative additions to their renowned Cintiq pen displays. The Japanese powerhouse has designed these new devices with sleeker builds and higher resolutions, giving us a multitude of fresh options to try out. Let's dive into the deets!

Our very own builder's choice, the Wacom Cintiq tablets, are about to expand with the Cintiq 16, Cintiq 24, and Cintiq 24 Touch. These stunning devices come with a slimmed-down, fanless design, which not only reduces noise but makes them more convenient for on-the-go artists. Bye-bye bulk, hello portability!

The Cintiq 24 is the star of the show, coming in almost half the thickness of the previous 22-inch model at a svelte 21mm. Have your workspace dreaming of a thinner waistline? This could be just the one!

The Cintiq 16 is also revved up, jumping from a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 to a crisp 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. The 24-inch models (pen-only or pen + touch) receive an upgrade to a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440. All models support a reliable USB-C connection and utilize the existing Pro Pen 3, with direct bonding ensuring minimal gap from pen tip to cursor for maximum precision.

Opting for the Cintiq 24 or 24 Touch? You'll appreciate the adjustable stand, which can alleviate strain on your neck and back. The high-performance anti-glare etched glass also makes eye-straining sessions fewer and further between, replacing the previous models' film for a superior reflection-reducing experience.

Fancy a more natural feel in your hand? Wacom’s announced a new Pro Pen 3 Wood Grip as an optional extra.

Get ready for your summer vacay, creators, because these rebooted Cintiq warriors are expected to hit the market soon! Check out the Wacom website for all the details. For a taste of other Wacom options, you can always explore our curated list of top Wacom tablets here.
