MTN South Sudan has partnered with SpaceX's Starlink, a satellite-based internet service, to provide high-speed connections across the country. The National Communications Authority approved the partnership in September 2024.
Starlink offers impressive speeds, ranging from 25 to 220 Mbps, with latency between 50 and 90 milliseconds. MTN South Sudan is the exclusive provider, selling and supporting Starlink kits and subscriptions through its nationwide Customer Service Points and Connect Stores. The official launch date is yet to be announced.
