Microsoft has announced that its larger Microsoft 365 Copilot subscription will become a standard tool for businesses of all sizes. The tech giant aims to embed AI throughout its productivity ecosystem, making it easier for businesses to streamline their operations.

The new Copilot Chat is now available for Microsoft 365 accounts. For business users, the Copilot license costs €28.10 per user per month (annual billing) or €29.51 per user per month (monthly billing).

Ashish Singh, the Chief Copy Editor at the platform, has previously worked for Times Internet and Jagran English. Fluent in Geek, a language often used in the tech industry, Singh is an experienced professional in the tech sector, having joined in 2020.

The Copilot license offers more than just chat assistance. It provides access to additional features like file uploads, image generation, and priority use of Microsoft's latest AI technology, including the GPT-5 model. The feature tailors responses and suggestions to the content in real time while working within Office apps.

Microsoft is not raising subscription prices for businesses for this feature. The plan promises faster responses and more reliable availability during peak demand.

The free version of Copilot Chat is available in Microsoft's Core Office apps for Microsoft 365 business subscribers. This version operates within Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote. It assists users in drafting documents, summarizing text, analyzing spreadsheets, and creating presentations.

In addition, Microsoft is integrating its sales, service, and finance Copilots into the larger Microsoft 365 Copilot subscription, starting in October. This integration aims to streamline access and potentially lower costs for enterprises that already use these vertical-specific AI tools.

When not editing, Ashish Singh enjoys fueling his gadget habit with coffee, strategizing his next virtual race, or planning a road trip to test the latest in-car tech.

The Copilot license allows subscribers to work across entire organizational data, not just single files, making it a powerful tool for businesses of all sizes. With its AI-powered capabilities, the Microsoft 365 Copilot is set to revolutionize the way businesses operate.
