Microsoft & Adobe Team Up for July 2015 'Patch Tuesday'

In July 2015, Microsoft and Adobe simultaneously released crucial security patches as part of the monthly 'Patch Tuesday' cycle. This joint effort aimed to address and rectify several vulnerabilities in their respective products.

Qualys, a leading cybersecurity company, had previously provided comprehensive coverage for the top five server-side vulnerabilities from Microsoft, Oracle, and Adobe in April 2015. This proactive measure helped organisations prepare and mitigate potential security threats before the July patches were released.

Microsoft, adhering to its tradition, issued updates to address critical issues in its Windows operating systems and other software. Meanwhile, Adobe patched vulnerabilities in its widely-used software like Flash Player and Acrobat Reader.

The July 2015 'Patch Tuesday' saw Microsoft and Adobe collaborating to release essential security updates. Prior to this, Qualys had offered protection against the most severe server-side vulnerabilities from these tech giants and Oracle. Users and organisations are advised to apply these patches promptly to ensure the security of their systems.
