Meyers Manx Unveils Resorter NEV: The Premium Electric Dune Buggy
Meyers Manx, the revived classic 'dune buggy' brand, has unveiled its latest creation, the Resorter Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV), at 'The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering'. The vehicle is a four-passenger, twin-motor electric drivetrain-powered NEV, designed for local exploration and offering a premium customer experience.
The Resorter NEV is the first NEV designed with driving dynamics in mind, offering class-leading torque, range, and acceleration. It shares key components with the Meyers Manx 2.0 Electric Vehicle and is capable of exploring both coastal communities and large ranches. The vehicle features a streamlined aluminum monocoque chassis, advanced LED lighting, and an intuitive smart dashboard.
The Resorter NEV comes with a detachable roof, upcoming zip-down window doors, standard electric A/C, a foldable windshield, and rugged wheels. Personalization options are available for exterior colors and interior materials. Phillip Sarofim, Chairman of Meyers Manx, praised the Resorter NEV for its well-engineered design and timeless aesthetic, elevating the NEV segment. Hinrich J. Woebcken, board member of Meyers Manx, is involved in the engineering and industrialization process for this quality customer experience.
The Resorter NEV is electronically limited to 25mph and is designed for local exploration.
