Mercedes-Benz Unveils SLS AMG Roadster Ahead of Geneva Motor Show
Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the first official photos of the SLS AMG Roadster, just two days prior to this report. The car is set to make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in 2010.
The Roadster, unlike earlier photos of a camouflaged car, is now shown in all its glory. The sleek design is a stark contrast to the 'blobby' appearance of the SLS Gullwing Coupe, with many considering the Roadster the more appealing of the two. Despite being shown in a 1970s color scheme, the Roadster looks impressive on the move.
Mercedes is also working on a high-performance version of the SLS AMG, the Black Series. Set to launch in 2013, it will boast an impressive 650bhp and be available in both roadster and gullwing versions.
The SLS AMG Roadster is expected to turn heads at the Geneva Motor Show in 2010. With its appealing design and upcoming high-performance variant, the Roadster is poised to make a significant impact in the automotive world.
