Lufthansa has unveiled an exclusive special livery on a Boeing 787-9 to mark its 100th anniversary. The aircraft, with registration D-ABPU, will operate regularly on international routes from December 2025.

The livery, designed by Otto Firle in 1918, features the traditional crane emblem of Lufthansa. The crane rises from a deep blue fuselage and blends into the wings of the Dreamliner. The anniversary number '100' and the years '1926 / 2026' are inscribed on the aircraft.
