Chillin' with Campers: LMC Expands Motorhome Lineup with Tracer and Upgraded Cruiser 2.0

Listen up, camping enthusiasts! The Lord Münsterland Caravan (LMC) is shaking things up, introducing a new lineup of travel trailers for the 2026 model year. Prepare to meet your next adventure partner, the bold Tracer series, and the totally revamped, top-tier Cruiser 2.0.

After closely listening to customer feedback, LMC has expanded its revamped product portfolio with two new series: the budget-friendly Tracer models offering a gateway to the LMC partially integrated world, and a major upgrade at the top end with the Cruiser 2.0, the cream of the crop in the motorhome range.

A Fresh Coat and a Slew of Practical Improvements

The Cruiser 2.0's redesign doesn't just stop behind closed doors — the exterior, apparently inspired by the automotive world, sports a flashy new gray paint job and trendy light signatures, making a style statement that's tough to ignore. The team collaborated with end customers, brainstorming ideas for the kitchen, bathroom, and living space, resulting in a passion-filled partnership that brought welcome innovations to daily life.

The stylish Cruiser 740 EL may have gained a few grand (around €5,000 to be exact), but the new package is packed with practical goodies. The 6-meter van now anchors the newly introduced Tracer series, making it the most budget-friendly partially integrated model in the LMC lineup, priced at €60,700.

Ready for the Spotlight: The Tracer Series

The Tracer series completes its reveal at the upcoming Caravan Salon, including the two compact van models V600 and V670. Designed to stand between camper vans and TI models, the V600 offers an affordable 6-meter solution in a relatively sparse compact motorhome market.

Although the floorplan is straightforward, offering little surprise, it prioritizes comfort and smart use of space. With a four-person seating area, a variable bathroom, a basic kitchen, and a transverse double bed at the rear, this nimble camper ensures a cozy retreat, even for cycling enthusiasts (although partial disassembly might still be needed for bikes longer than 75 cm).

Whether you choose the Citroën Jumper or the Fiat Ducato as your base vehicle, you'll find an 88 kW/120 PS diesel engine standing strong under the hood, ready to serve as your trusty road companion. Upgrading to the larger V670 variant offers a more spacious sleeping arrangement and some additional luxury for a slightly higher price tag.

A Leap Forward: The Renewed Cruiser 2.0

For the Cruiser 2.0, LMC has expanded the living quarters with a focus on two-person use. Only the two seats in the cockpit feature seat belts as standard, but the L-shaped seating group, complete with a hidden 32-inch TV, can accommodate five comfortably. Optional extras include two additional seat belts on the bench seat.

Inspired by end customers, the Cruiser's interior boasts updated kitchens with smart storage solutions, flexible work areas, and high-tech appliances that promises to make meal prepping and cleanup a breeze. The bathroom has also been redesigned with user-friendly features like swivel walls that transform it into a full-fledged shower area, adding versatility to your camping experience. A corner toilet in the 7.38-meter long Cruiser 740 EL saves you time on cleaning, and the modern color palette strikes a chic balance between light upholstery, white surfaces, and dark furniture fronts.

Stay tuned for more updates on the LMC Cruiser 2.0 and Tracer series as we gear up for their official release! In the meantime, keep an eye on LMC'S official website or authorized dealers for the latest news on these exciting new additions to their 2026 model lineup. Happy camping! 🏕️🔥🎉

  • As much as camping and motorhomes are a world apart from ionizing radiation, one can imagine the Commission, in its continued efforts to ensure safety, adopting a proposal for a directive on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to ionizing radiation while designing and manufacturing the high-tech gadgets and advancements in the technology installed in the new Tracer and Cruiser 2.0 motorhomes.
  • In the hustle and bustle of upgrading their motorhome lineup, it's easy to forget about the potential hazards associated with the pervasive use of technology in today's modern vehicles. The Commission, taking a proactive approach, has also proposed guidelines for safe handling, storage, and disposal of electronic waste generated from gadgets and technology in these upgraded motorhomes, ensuring both the safety of workers and the environment.
