Kraiburg Unveils Revolutionary Elastomer Blends for Hydrogen Systems
Kraiburg Rubber, a leading innovator in rubber technology, has unveiled a groundbreaking range of elastomer blends designed for hydrogen-carrying systems. These materials, set to debut at the Hydrogen Technology World Expo, offer enhanced safety and durability, making them ideal for electrolysis units.
The new elastomer blends, developed by Gummiwerk KRAIBURG GmbH & Co. KG, are engineered for use in alkaline, PEM, and AEM electrolysis units. They exhibit exceptional resistance to explosive decompression, as confirmed by rigorous testing from BAM, TÜV, and DVGW. This ensures safety in critical applications.
Key to these blends is their low hydrogen permeation, which prevents membrane and catalyst damage. They also demonstrate remarkable thermochemical stability and maintain resilience throughout their lifespan. Moreover, these blends are optimized for mass production processing, making them a practical choice for industrial production.
Kraiburg Rubber will showcase these innovative elastomer blends at the Hydrogen Technology World Expo in Hall B7, Stand 7C71. With their superior safety, durability, and production efficiency, these materials are poised to significantly impact the hydrogen production sector.
