It appears the executive at BYD has suggested that the company's European Centre will likely be established in Hungary.

Chinese electric vehicle giant BYD is about to set up shop in Hungary, according to a recent announcement by its chairman Wang Chuanfu at a press conference with Prime Minister Viktor Orban. This new hub is going to be the beating heart of three main operations: sales and customer service, testing, and model development for local markets.
The location of this badass new center? Right smack in the center of Budapest's bustling 11th district, near the Danube River—a strategic location that puts it right at the heart of the city's transport and industrial action.
