At the SID Display Week 2025 event in San Jose, display technology leaders Innolux and CarUX unveiled groundbreaking AI-driven innovations in automotive and smart city displays, setting the stage for the future of urban and mobility ecosystems.
Innolux, showcasing its advancements in MicroLED technology, demonstrated several applications tailored for smart city environments. The exhibits encompassed high-resolution, energy-efficient MicroLED displays designed to revitalize digital urban spaces with vivid visuals and dynamic information presentation. One highlight was the 85-inch 4K AI Interactive InnoGallery, an immersive, voice-controlled art display featuring anti-glare technology and superior sunlight visibility for museums and therapeutic spaces. Additionally, Innolux displayed its MicroLED Floating Jewelry Box, utilizing gesture recognition and offering high-bright, 3D visuals for luxury retail shops.
Other notable offerings from Innolux included the High PPI AM-MicroLED Display for dashboards, providing excellent sunlight visibility, and the 101-inch Color-Conversion-Based AM-MicroLED Free Tiling Wall, ideal for large-scale, immersive environments due to its high-definition color conversion-based display technology.
CarUX presented its innovative 9.6-inch MicroLED AR Windshield Reflective Solution (WRS), the first of its kind in the industry. This technology seamlessly projects navigation and dashboard data with distortion-free clarity onto the windshield, thereby enhancing driver safety and engagement. Other CarUX innovations featured at the event were the InvisiView line of displays, which integrate vibrant imaging with luxury aesthetics, and the Smart Privacy 12.3-inch Display, offering private and shared viewing modes to minimize driver distraction.
