Indian Startups Raise Record $194M in One Week, Led by AI and Spacetech
Indian startups have witnessed a significant funding boost, with over $194 million raised by 22 companies in just one week. This surge in investment, between July 21 and July 26, 2025, was led by the AI sector, with notable deals including Agentic AI startup Composio's $25 million raise and GupShup's impressive $60 million funding.
The funding spree saw diverse sectors flourish. In the AI sector, apart from Composio and GupShup, specific startups raised over $48.95 million, though details are unavailable. Sportstech startup Hudle raised $2.5 million in a Series A round, while Spacetech's Omspace Rocket & Exploration secured $3 million in a pre-Seed round. Fintech firm PayU India led the pack with a $35 million raise. In the retail sector, branded franchised chain SuperK raised $11.57 million. Flexible workspace provider CoWrks also attracted significant investment, raising $43.25 million from anchor investors. Notably, Indian startups raised over $110 million in total during this week.
