Tesla Offers Free XPEL Wrap for Foundation Series Cybertruck Purchases

Tesla has announced a new offer for customers purchasing the Foundation Series Cybertruck in North America. The electric vehicle manufacturer is providing a free XPEL wrap for these purchases, with delivery by March 31, 2025.

The XPEL wrap installation must be coordinated directly with XPEL, and the voucher must be redeemed by June 30, 2025. The free XPEL wrap voucher will be provided within 14 days of delivery. This offer applies to orders placed on or after February 1, 2025, and is available for both Canadian and U.S. buyers.

In the U.S., Tesla's in-house wraps for the Cybertruck cost $4,500, making the free offer potentially worth that much. However, it's important to note that the XPEL wrap is not offered by Tesla in Canada. Instead, the voucher can be redeemed at one of XPEL's 125+ authorized installer locations across North America.

Tesla is actively working to boost demand and increase sales of the Cybertruck, in particular the Foundation Series. The Cybertruck AWD remains eligible for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit, further reducing the overall cost for lessees.

In addition to the free XPEL wrap offer, Tesla has also reduced the lease pricing for the Cybertruck AWD in the U.S., bringing it down from $899 to $749 per month. This represents a nearly 20% decrease. However, it's worth noting that this lease price reduction is applicable in the U.S. only.

Demand for the Foundation Series Cybertruck in Canada has waned, as there are only so many people willing to pay close to $200,000 for the Cybertruck. Despite this, Tesla has added Foundation Series Cybertrucks to their inventory website in Canada for the first time, making dozens, if not hundreds, of units available for immediate delivery.

Tesla stopped producing the Foundation Series Cybertruck in October last year, but still has thousands of units left to sell. This new offer, along with the lease price reduction, could help boost sales of the Cybertruck in both the U.S. and Canada.
