German Shooting Federation Unveils 'EZ Aim Hardrock' for Enhanced Proficiency

The German Shooting Federation has introduced a new training routine to enhance shooters' proficiency and speed. The 'EZ Aim Hardrock' sight adjustment systems, developed by the federation, focus on building an instinctive judgment for sight usage at varying distances.

The drill involves two phases: warm-up and hard change. In the warm-up phase, shooters draw and fire without sights, repeating this action four times in under two seconds, aiming for 'C' zone hits or better. This phase primes shooters for the hard change phase.

The hard change phase, lasting no more than 2.75 seconds, requires shooters to draw, fire two rounds without sights, align both front and rear sight, fire the third round, and repeat this sequence nine times, aiming for center-mass hits in at least the 'C' zone. The drill uses two targets placed at 5 and 20 yards, forcing different sight-picture configurations and improving shooting versatility.

The 'EZ Aim Hardrock' system, promoted by the German Shooting Federation, aims to keep training constantly changing, helping shooters develop an instinctive judgment for sight usage at different distances. By improving shooting proficiency and speed, this new system is set to enhance the skillset of shooters across Germany.
