Free E-bike/Pedelec Training Sessions Offered by Wesel Police
The Wesel Police Directorate is offering free E-bike/Pedelec training sessions during the autumn holidays. The sessions are led by Polizeihauptkommissar Henner Störmer, who took over as press spokesperson in mid-June 2025. Registration is required to participate.
The training sessions will take place on various dates and locations across the region. Participants can expect a comprehensive programme lasting approximately three hours. The sessions will begin with a theoretical introduction, followed by a reaction test on a Pedelec simulator. The practical training session will allow participants to put their newfound knowledge into action.
Those who wish to have their Pedelec police-coded can do so by bringing their ID and purchase documents or bicycle passport. The training sessions are an excellent opportunity for E-bike and Pedelec users to enhance their skills and safety on the road.
The free E-bike/Pedelec training sessions are open to all interested parties. To register, contact the Wesel Police Directorate at 0281 / 107 - 7777 or via email at [email protected]. The training sessions are set to take place in Xanten, Moers, Schermbeck, Dinslaken, Wesel, Alpen, and Hamminkeln.
