Kia EV9 and EV3 Win World Car of the Year Awards

In a stunning turn of events at the World Car Awards, the Kia EV9 and EV3 have taken home the coveted titles of World Car of the Year for 2024 and 2025 respectively.

The Kia EV9, an electric vehicle, was declared the winner for 2024, competing against the Volvo EX30, BYD Seal, and other notable brands. The win came as a surprise to many, considering no specific details about the EV9's features or pricing were provided beforehand.

Meanwhile, the Kia EV3, set to be unveiled on 23 May 2024, has been announced as the World Car of the Year for 2025. The Atto 2 Boost model, on the other hand, offers a 51.1kWh battery, a 174bhp electric motor, and a range of up to 214 miles, along with features like 17'' alloys, a rotatable 12.8'' infotainment, wireless phone charging, V2L, and Voice Control. Order books for the BYD Atto 2 are now open, with Boost models arriving in September and Comfort models later in the year.
