EOS and AM Solutions have joined forces to revolutionise additive manufacturing, unveiling the D1 and F1 systems. These integrated solutions seamlessly work with EOS's polymer platform, including the EOS P3 NEXT, and are compatible with all EOS polymer printers. The partnership sets a new standard for collaboration in the AM ecosystem.
The D1 and F1 systems, developed collaboratively, offer end-to-end solutions for polymer-based 3D printing. They provide automated post-processing, focusing on efficiency, consistency, and economic viability. The D1 system, presented at Formnext 2024 Expo, reduces powder contamination and ensures consistent processing. It's currently being evaluated at selected beta partners.
The F1 system, developed by AM Solutions, combines screening and mixing processes for reproducible results and efficient powder reuse. Both systems go beyond mere automation, representing a connected, user-centric approach to digital manufacturing. They reduce direct human contact with powder, enhancing safety and reducing reliance on highly trained technicians.
The partnership between EOS and AM Solutions addresses key industry challenges, including sustainability, labour shortages, health and safety, and increasing automation demands. As additive manufacturing matures, it's shifting towards integrated, end-to-end solutions like the D1 and F1 systems.
