AI-Powered Consumer Research Platform Knit Secures $16.1 Million Series A Funding

Knit, an innovative AI-based platform for consumer research, has announced the successful completion of its Series A funding round, raising $16.1 million. This investment will be utilised to accelerate product development, expand research use cases, and grow the in-house research team.

The funding round was led by GFT Ventures and Ashton Kutcher's Sound Ventures, with participation from notable angel investors such as David Kirk (former Chief Scientist at NVIDIA) and Gokul Rajaram (founding partner of Marathon Management). Other venture capital firms including Silicon Road Ventures, Osage Ventures, Rise of the Rest, and others also contributed to the round.

Knit's unique technology stands out in the enterprise market by catering to the needs of modern research teams. Its platform combines the rigor of traditional research with the speed of AI, making research accessible, contextual, and decision-ready for enterprise researchers.

Alexandra Burbey, Investor at Sound Ventures, praised Knit for its ability to redefine how brands understand their customers. Aneesh Dhawan, Co-Founder and CEO of Knit, stated that the funding will accelerate their vision for a human + AI platform for research.

Brooks Deaton, VP, Data & Insights at NASCAR, praised Knit for its ability to maintain quality and consistency while scaling research efforts.

Over the past year, Knit has seen 5X growth and adoption by Fortune 500 brands like Amazon and Mars Wrigley. Jeff Herbst, Founding Managing Partner at GFT Ventures, believes Knit is positioned to lead the new era of enterprise insights.

The funding will also support hiring more skilled researchers to ensure quality across projects. Knit's platform keeps human insight at the centre as AI becomes embedded in every workflow, ensuring that the insights delivered are fast, high-quality, and maintain the context required for effective decision-making.

With this new funding, Knit aims to enhance its human-plus-AI platform to make enterprise consumer research faster, cost-efficient, and maintain quality and context, supporting widespread adoption across Fortune 500 firms and international expansion of its research capabilities.

The funding secured by Knit will be used to accelerate the development of technology-driven research tools within the business sector, with a focus on enhancing its AI-based platform for consumer research. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, Knit aims to revolutionize the way enterprises perceive and analyze their consumer base, thereby facilitating informed investing decisions.
