Empress's Network Expands in Hunt: Showdown with Update 2.5
Hunt: Showdown 1896 is gearing up for an exciting new event, "Web of the Empress," which begins on September 24 and runs until December 10. This event introduces a captivating new backstory about an injured "Empress" infested by spiders, and a host of in-game changes.
Update 2.5, accompanying the event, brings a series of significant improvements. The melee system has been revamped, with optimized hit detection, increased attack range, and melee attack improvements affecting bayonets on rifles. These changes promise a more responsive and engaging melee combat experience.
Furthermore, the event introduces a new challenge in the form of swarms of Bileweavers, spider-like creatures. These creatures spin meter-long webs into massive nests filled with eggs, adding a new layer of strategy to the gameplay.
